Your private writing

The editable card prompt and notes are held temporarily in your browser while the page is open. Our application does not submit them to a server, put them in a database or send them to an AI service. Your personal reflection PDF is generated on your device. We cannot see or recover your notes.

Leaving or refreshing the page may clear your writing. A downloaded PDF stays wherever you save it, including any cloud backup you use. Browser features such as enhanced spellcheck, extensions or device backups are controlled by your own settings. Avoid entering other people's identifying or confidential information.

Optional email updates

If you subscribe, Hostinger Reach processes your email address, subscription and consent records, and technical information associated with the signup. We use this to send occasional reflection prompts, new cards, resources and offers, based on your consent. It is not a weekly newsletter commitment. The free journal does not require signup.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We do not sell our mailing list. Reach can provide campaign information such as email delivery, opens and link clicks; the availability and accuracy of that information depend on the service and your email settings.

Technical information and enquiries

The site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites (OpenAI), using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting and security services process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. Sites also provides traffic statistics. These are separate from the private writing fields.

If you email us, we receive your address and the information you choose to include. Our purposes are to answer enquiries and manage privacy requests. Our lawful bases are legitimate interests in operating a secure website and responding to enquiries, and legal obligations where these apply. Please do not send clinical records or sensitive personal histories to this inbox.

Service providers and international processing

Our hosting, security and email providers process information needed to supply their services. Their infrastructure and subprocessors may operate outside the UK. Their published notices describe their locations, processing and international transfer arrangements: OpenAI privacy policy, Cloudflare privacy policy and Hostinger privacy policy. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

How long information is kept

Writing in the page is temporary; downloaded files remain under your control. We keep subscription information while you choose to receive updates and it remains needed for that purpose. After an unsubscribe, a minimal suppression record may be kept to respect your choice, together with consent evidence where necessary. Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and any related legal obligation or dispute. Technical logs and backups follow the relevant provider's retention arrangements. You can contact us to request deletion or further details.

Cookies and browser storage

The card and PDF tools do not use application cookies or browser storage to save your notes. We have not added advertising pixels or a separate third-party analytics script to these tools. Hosting services may use technologies needed to deliver and secure the site.

The optional signup form is hosted separately by Hostinger Reach and appears directly on this page. When it loads, your browser connects to Hostinger and sends technical request information. The form may use cookies or similar browser storage in providing its service. We do not use Reach's separate parent-page embed script, which includes form-view tracking and a local-storage identifier.

Consent to receive marketing emails is requested separately in the form. You do not need to subscribe to use the cards or free downloads. You can block or delete third-party cookies and site data through your browser settings; blocking may affect the form. An alternative link opens the form on Hostinger's own page, where its policies apply. Provider information is linked above.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal data; restrict processing; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing at any time, and to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us to exercise your rights. We may need to verify your identity.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.

Children and changes

This experience and mailing list are intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us. We will update this notice if our practices change; the revision date is shown above.
